Guest guest
, I don't know what is considered fluctuating a lot. These are my temperatures for the last 19 days starting today and going backwards. 98.1 97.2 98.1 97.4 97.7 97.9 96.8 97.9 98.4 97.7 96.3 97.3 96.7 97.2 97.2 97.5 97.6 97.8 97.4 Unfortunately I've been using a digital thermometer and the group here believes they're not as accurate. Are glass thermometers the only accurate ones? Are there any other options? I simply can't read those things. elyse > If it is still AVERAGING at pr below 98.6 I woul not worry about > it. Guest guest
Someone mentioned somewhere to let the digital thermometer sit in your mouth for 3-5 minutes, THEN turn it on. It was then that my temps raised from 97.5 to 98.5. OK, just did a test. Stuck the thermometer in my mouth and turned it right on temp. 97.9 Thermometer in my mouth for 3 minutes, then turn it on: 98.7 Best, Handcrafted Jewelry ~ http://www.ChestnutHillDesigns.com Curly Horse Rescue ~ http://www.CurlyRescue.com ~Flashlights are tubular metal containers for the purpose of storing dead batteries.~ Re: high temperatures Sorry Val, yes these are daily averages. > , > I don't know what is considered fluctuating a lot. Guest guest
Slight adrenal fatigue? That's strange because I have other symptoms big time including the fact that I am disabled because of extreme fatigue. I have all the other symptoms of light sensitivity, I get stressed and anxious extremely easily, jump at the smallest things like a phone ringing. Maybe the digital thermometer is inaccurate? elyse > Ok then they are showing slight adrenal fatigue. I would not say most > days was really bad but it is there still. Guest guest
Thanks , it looks like it's giving you lower temperatures after you've kept it in your mouth for a while. That's probably what's happening to me, but I hope to find a better thermometer, because its hard to keep that in my mouth for more than 5 minutes :-) elyse > Someone mentioned somewhere to let the digital thermometer sit in > your mouth for 3-5 minutes, THEN turn it on. > > It was then that my temps raised from 97.5 to 98.5. > > OK, just did a test. Guest guest
I'm going to look into that. It's strange that digital thermometers are being sold if they're not even accurate. I'll ask the group about thermometers with a new subject line. elyse > Well you can either try more adrenal support, or you can get a new > thermometer. Guest guest
, thanks for responding so fast! I noticed all of the info regarding progesterone cream. I too, was on the cream for the past week and 1/2- last MD recommended it- I immediatly became hypoglycemic and felt terrible- stopped taking it 2 days ago and already feel better with the tiny bit of isocort. Tomorrow I will add one more pellet at noon. Chris wrote: >>I am taking 1/4 gr armour and 1 isocort pellet- just started today- I know that is minute but that is the way I have to do it. Guest guest
Actually, the opposite. My temp. reads higher when I leave the thermometer in for awhile. Guest guest
---Just a point to note about taking your temp more than once... It will go up each time because of the muscle activity in your mouth from just holding it under your tongue. > > OK, just did a test. Guest guest
Elyse, yes I definately connect it to iodine. When it was really bad, I couldn't even have butter at dinner, because of the iodine in the butter!! It is slowly getting better, but if I eat out and the food has iodized salt in it I suffer. I take New Chapter's Zyflamend PM, and it works great. I was afraid of taking too much ibuprofen. I read in Thyroid Power that iodine affects some people with Hashimoto's Thyrioditis that way, although none of the MD's I've been to know anything about it.. Evidently iodine is like throwing gasoline on a fire when you have thyroiditis, makes the inflammation worse. Dairy, pork, seafoods are high in iodine. Guest guest
Elyse, Your temps are averaging 97.5 which is Hypo and deviating by 0.5 degrees which is probably adrenal stress.
