AOL usually takes care of this overnight. Jim

Guest guest
HI Marcy: I'm Sorry to hear that you just found out that you have this desaise. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I'm a type one diabetic. I've been a diabetic sense the age of 11. And I have had on real support until I met my husband, Who had and understanding of the desaise. My parents have always denied that I was sick. Now that I have been online I find that there is all kinds of support out there. Thanks everyone for being there for me. Guest guest
Welcome to the group Marcy. It is a bittersweet welcome indeed. You have found the right place. There are several knowledgable people on this list who can guide you in the right direction. Marcy and Snowball wrote: > > > > Hi: > I am new to the list. Guest guest
Sounds like a good idea. We'll post them in the files section in one folder -- I'll set up the folder later today, and anyone can add something to it. At least, it SHOULD work that way; it did in the beginning when egroups ran the show... Jacquie

Guest guest
Heidi, I am SO sorry to hear about your pain and your surgeries. It sounds like you have been through hell. Fibromyalgia is (as I understand it) an autoimmune disorder where the muscles think there are pain signals that really aren't there. It's a total body disorder, and is diagnosed through a positive response to " tender " point stimulation. I think if you have a positive response to 8 of the 11 points, you have fibromyalgia. It is chronic with no cure and little understanding in the medical community. It has been linked with, or may be the same thing as, chronic fatigue syndrome.
