Guest guest
Jacquie, I'm shocked. NO warm breakfast, and then <gasp> you mean you're not primped and made up on your way out to the bus? OH MY, how could you? LOLOL!!! Seriously though, with a 6 AM bus ride, I don't see anything better being possible. I am usually in a rush in the mornings here when I get up at 6 AM, and leave the house with them at 8:45~8:50 to get them to school. A whole hour seems to just go up in thin air and disappear. I do feed them breakfast, BUT - - my school doesn't have the option of having them fed at school, so that would be why. Believe you me, at least for the time of having no kitchen, if I thought it remotely possible that they could somehow go without breakfast or make it to lunch at 11:30 without it, then I WOULD. While I do not envy the god-forsaken time that Alec is picked up - - - I do envy the school-bought breakfast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm moving to Waterford LOL!! Yikes Jacquie! I can't even imagine that. I thought Kep's pick-up time was early! Guest guest
Amy: I have been seeing the responses to this, most of which no longer had much to do with this and I was so happy to run into the original among my backed up messages. Do I belong to too many groups? Perhaps. Anyway, glad the bus situation worked out so well and why on earth didn't they do this in the first place? Oh, well. Guest guest
I have this great weekly clothes organizer > that has the days of the week puches so I set the kids clothes out > once a week! Great time saver int he morning!) Jacquie, do tell, where did you get this treasure? I set out clothes the morning before, but this way you could do it as you were pulling clothes out of the dryer. Sounds great! Salli who hopes you will not say that your grandmother made it for you
Guest guest
Salli, you are in luck! I bought them at Target for $15. A great investment! They hang on the closet rod. Very handy and even have places for 2 sets of shoes! Jacquie H > I have this great weekly clothes organizer > > that has the days of the week puches so I set the kids clothes out > > once a week! Dead serious Grace. Really. There are some kids who are allergice to so many things that they get their cereal with water. Really! My nephews were this way and it just made me feel sick at first, but soon I started catching on. ;-/ Just do the dry cereal in a baggy and an apple or other fruit. or a cup of rice milk would be good. :-) kandie Kandie and (9 years) * 's website: <A HREF= " http://kidsactivities.homestead.com/spage.html " >spage</A> *

Guest guest
> Grace, you put me to shame;) Even if my kids didnt get a meal at > school breakfast would be cheerios in a plastic baggie in fron tof > the TV.LOL Au contraire, mon freir ~~ If my girls would eat cheerios in a plastic baggie, I'd do it too. You know, I am noticing lately, since school started, that it is an ASTRONOMICAL LOSS for me to have girls who do not eat " cereal in milk " for breakfast. Could anything be EASIER? Having to cook a meal for breakfast is the pits. I think I will train them to just eat cereal. Starvation should do the trick..... they love Golden Grahams, but what to do about the milk, which they deplore? Grace

You do know that I am taking about real Golden Grahams... like Cocoa Puffs, etc? Not the mix with water kind of infant cereal? EWWWWWWWWWWWW~~~!!! LOL Will eat it this way? The problem we have is more with anything crunchy being put in liquid. My girls seem to have a thought, set in stone, that what is crunchy must remain crunchy and can never be wet or soggy or floating around in liquid. Golden Grahams must be eaten by hand, but come at them with a spoonful of GG's, and all hell breaks loose. Grace
