Guest guest
So I am wondering if there is any correlation to the ssri's and hormones.. Yep, screws them up real bad!!!! I'm sure catherine will explain, or there may be something in the files. The cortisol problem still plagues me -- that's one of the worst side effects from Paxil -- that constant adrenaline rush. "Blind Reason" a novel of pharmaceutical intrigue Think your antidepressant is safe? Think again. It's Unsafe At Any Dose
Guest guest
Hi, Does anyone know if ssri drugs can mess up someones hormones ( I.e . estrogen , progesterone, dhea, cortisol ,etc. ) I have been thinking alot and discussing with my friend that , the dizziness that I have now since the paxil withdrawl is similar to the kind that happened after the birth of my daughter ( the second that I came out of the birthing room , I felt a wavy feeling. but it was about a level 1 compared to the wavy rocky imbalance that I now feel being rated at #100. So I am wondering if there is any correlation to the ssri's and hormones.. thanks nne
Guest guest
thats kinda the opposite of how i feel. i haven't had an adrenaline rush in over a year. i find it hard to get things done quickly when they need to be done. I also haven't had any endorphin rushes either. i hope you cna still feel euphoric after ssris. -joe > In a message dated 9/12/04 9:18:28 PM Mountain Daylight Time, > turquoisesky@c... writes: > > > > So I am wondering if there is any correlation to the ssri's and hormones.. > > Yep, screws them up real bad!!!! I get this awful weird feeling in my lower abdomen that just makes me feel awful. It's like a surge of some type and it's very uncomfortable. It's never predicitve, coming at different times, sometimes going away for months and then coming back again. I wondered if it could be associated with hormones but I'm at a loss to understand what it could be caused by. It only lasts about a minute but I feel awful afterwards for a couple of hours or more.
