Dear Peg,

Thanks so much for the calendar for the upcoming week [which I copied below, for any who missed it!].

I am a new member to the list, but already feel like you all are family.

The list, and Ellen and Art, especially, are certainly now on my personal prayer list.

Kathie

Mom of Rick, 15 years old, Crohn's since age two; PSC diagnosed end of March, 2001

Ellen you and Art are in my prayers. I sure hope this last doctor is right.

Sorry Art, and you have to go through this. Next week seems to be procedure

week so we all have to do a lot of praying. Let's see - I'm starting a list

please add if you know anyone else having one done.

Art-cholangeograme and biopsy on Monday

-ERCP on Monday

Bob- ? on Tuesday

Phil- ERCP on Tuesday

Yes the old poop scoop. Although I have not been diagnosed with uc, the risk

is high with psc. So every other year I get the good colonoscopy. My

procedure is in the am while 's is in the pm. Plenty of time to clean

the equipment.

Looking forward to my 500 mile doctor visit.

Aw Man! I hate those roller coaster rides!!!!!!

I agree I dont know which is better, having the hope

extended until the results are in or having to worry

expecting the worse.

I will say a prayer for both of you while you two wait

this out.

Which facility do you go to?

in Michigan

We go to St. 's in Grand Rapids. This feels

almost identical to last year. Right before Easter,

Art had a ct scan done, and the first dr (same as the

first one this time) read the scan as metasistis (I am

sure I butchered that spelling). Then Dr. Rupp came

along and said, " looks like scar tissue to me "

While we were waiting for the scan, Art's dad passed

away and Art remembers when he first had the cancer

that his dad told him that as a pastor, he had

dedicated his son, baptized him, married him, and he

didn't want to be alive long enough to bury him....

Well, it's been kind of a rough day...

Bob,

Oh the poop scoop. Sorry couldn't come up with a TGIF joke.

Is it just a routine one? I see that you got it changed to the same day as

's. Are you really going to be together. Lucky to have watching

out fer ya. Hope they don't have to do anything else.

EEEEWWWWWWWW.

Looking forward to my 500 mile doctor visit.

How often do you have that trek? And I'm complaining cause I got to go 30

miles into LA.

Course you don't have traffic to contend with you probably get there faster

LOL.
