Guest guest
I see your point, Cindi. The new year can be a bit of a let-down. On the other hand, I can't help but feel energized by the new year -- new possibilities, new goals, new outlook...but I find myself still surrounded by an accumulation " stuff " that drags me down. It's been said that clutter steals your peace, and I would have to agree. I plan to get rid of lots of " stuff " this year, so that I can make my home a more peaceful place, visually and practically so. It's the implementation of that plan, though, that stymies me. I have GOT to get more ruthless and practical! Melody Cindi <cindi_rny@y...> wrote: > I am always torn in January. I get a little depressed because it's dark and cold with nothing to really look forward to (like the holidays). On the other hand I get a burst of wanting everything clean and new. The New Year is kind of like a fresh start. Anyway, I read somewhere that reducing the knick knacks around your house helps reduce clutter and cleaning time. Have you ever tried to dust 50 Chrished Teddies? LOL! >
