That is so funny - I'm so impressed with him! Wasn't it not that long

ago that him saying JUST one of these in a day would have been great,

and now he's doing so much more.

U-M-P, jump. " I had not yet had my coffee and did not feel like

jumping. He said this many times.

stay home (he is sick, really and truly, but I am equally sick about

him missing more school; he points out irritatingly that he has over

a 100 average in a couple of his classes so the absences aren't

exactly killing him academically), Putter pushed at Enrique and

shouted " Bye-bye, " (very helpful, Putter, and my sentiments exactly)

and finally called to me to catch him a " Kitten? " I did not.

have much expression but his mouth turns up at the corners in a faint

and perpetual smile rather like those very ancient Greek statues with

their archaic smiles (which my classics teacher in college referred

to as " No brain, no pain, " but NOT in Putter's case) -- and I could

tell he was wondering where we would turn. As I turned on the

highway that we take to school, he gave a scream of rage, slapped his

forehead and shouted, " Kangaroo! " More to the point than " Kangaroo! "

(at least I think so) he said " Help " at frequent intervals.

bank before Putter's school and thus I turned off at a different exit

than the school exit. Putter's hopes rose again. " H-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-

P! " he remarked happily.

about his odd conversations. I told her that Putter

shouts " Tomatoes! " for some unknown reason and we shook our heads in

wonderment. Then I mentioned that he also says what sounds

like, " Bananas, bananas, Mahot, Mahot! " and she understood. Told me

it comes from a book where some one says " My hat, my hat! " and, yes,

there are bananas in the story too.

Very true, Kerri (Kerri is ALWAYS right! Oops, I didn't really say that,

did I?) I should quit whining about the strange things he says and rejoice

in the fact that he does say something.

Salli,

As usual, love the story. used to call my dad's motorhome 'kangaroo'

because it has a picture of one on the side (part of the brands identity, I

guess..)

Tomato to you!!

Enrique would know.

BTW -- Boone's afraid of Kanga and Roo and Tigger too. I think they make him

nervous with all that hopping and bouncing. Loves Pooh though.

Salli I love reading about your little life! I get tired doing it but I

love it! You need a masseuse woman...a young buffed bod masseuse!

Wife to

Mom to Ben (aka Godzilla)

On call milk machine to Abby(aka stinkerbell)

Not to worry, Kerri.

THIS TIME, *I* have it SAVED.

Yes, you should, Salli. Putter is amazing. Putter is wonderful. And to top

it all off, he's ADORABLE. You can't ask for more in a 5 year old kid than

amazing, wonderful and adorable, I think. In my case, I would ask for

verbal too, but Putter already has that.

But what I am missing is the fact that you were " whining " . I have yet to

hear you whine about anything.
