What should I do? Is there a way of getting around having to reduce

because I am in serious need of getting to the optimum dose on the

Armour so I can try and wean off Pred/H.C.

Hi Val

I posted a little while ago (as above) about uneven responses to my

last Armmour raise. I was veering back and forth, every few days,

between a pulse rate of about 82 - 90/95 and then on the day

mentioned above, with a lot of stress, it shot up to 110. Just for

that one day and then back to the toing and froing. Depression kicked

in yesterday and fatigue and I spent a lovely sunny day on the settee

watching television and feeling crap. Could not wait for the hands of

the clock to get to bedtime so I could escape myself!

So, I took the temps. as you suggested for the last four days and

they came in, averaged for each day, at 97.6, 97.7, 97.8 and

yesterday 97.5 which looks pretty stable.

I don't know what it means in terms of the erratic response to this

last raise and would appreciate your advice.

Mo

ps nearly forget to say that something strange has been happening in

that I have started to have hot flushes (I think you say flashes)

again in the last week or so. I am 57 and way past the menopause so

have not had this occurring for at least 5 years or more. Any ideas?

I did have my oestrogen and progesterone tested a few months ago and

all was well with the progesterone slightly higher than the oestrogen

but both OK.
