Guest guest
Our trip to England went well and my dear son, who is the G.M. for Continental Express in Syracuse, arranged for free (YES!) business/first class travel both ways. If any of your kids are looking for a new career keep sending subliminal messages about working for a major airline. and are happily awaiting the baby. 's mother told us how much we'll enjoy having a grandchild and watch it grow. Although I know she did not mean to hurt us, this was easy for her to say since she was surrounded by five of them at the time. We'll never be a real part of the baby's life so I am in a self-preservation mode.....if I get too excited I will only feel the loss more. This sounds callous of me, I know, but I am very happy for and and not so happy for us. Todd and are in the final stages of the wedding planning. If only the invitees would start sending in the RSVPs............ Did anyone else have this problem? I am so pleased that Todd and are nearby for now. The end of May is getting closer. The third part of my celebration is the fact that I was " listed " four years ago this week. I was in dire straits and clearly not doing well. It was thought that I would be transplanted by August 1997. Here I am with my own liver and normal numbers (with no loss of functioning liver to give false readings). The tx team asked ME what I was doing. They didn't know about SAM-e at all. As smart as they are, this disease and its course is unpredictable and they simply have no idea why I'm doing so well at this moment. With all of the happy family news right now, I'll take every good day and enjoy it. Penny
