Guest guest
, it is both. At least when the happy BPD -sufferer is at the high end of the narcissistic spectrum. Mothers are the worst, I feel - especially after dealing with a BPD mother, two BPD lovers, a BPD-girlfriend and a BPD- family help. No one has the devastating power over you that the " first great love " in your life has. But she sure prepares you for taking more of the same from others. Illness? Hi KOs, I have been wondering lately whether BPD is an illness, or whether it is just the most selfish personality type on the planet. And what is the difference? I think too much some times. Guest guest
I agree with you completely. In my case though I was more referring to the rare instances where nada seemed to feel regretful of what kind of mother she was. They were fleeting and truely for all the crap she put us throught I can only think of twice where she seemed remorseful - after the fact. Come to think about it it was very self-pitying on her part during these times. Like poor me, look what I do. In my foo I can't really tell, other than nada, who is bpd or what. This really isn't a flip statement on my part. They are all very sick. So much abuse. For example in one aunt she has picked up so many fleas from my grandparents that she is nearly indistinguishable from other bpd's. I sometimes wonder during nada's seeming times of lucidity whether or not she was a real bpd or just competely infested, kwim? > For example in my foo there are more disorders than you can shake a > stick at. Everything! Now sometimes I wonder - can you pick up so > many fleas that you are indistiguishable from a real bpd? If that's > the case then do you not automatically become bpd? Or is there a root > base that is just wrong? If that core is seriously corrupt are you > offically bpd? How on earth could we ever really know any of this. > It just goes on in circles til my brain hurts. > __________________________________________________ >
