Guest guest
I turned mine in one year in advance. My license does not coincide with my registration. My license CEUs are being audited between 2004 and 2006. The letter states that CEUs must be approved by recognized entities including ADA and CDR. If any are questioned, I will send my ADA approved log. If I had not sent it in advance, I would be unable to meet the state's Oct 20 deadline. Stcking with pre-approved programs or recognized CDR providers is probably the best bet for ease of reporting. I also had turned in hours for a CEU program that I had presented to other RDs (hadn't read the info carefully enough as it states you can't count those hours). > > There wasn't any big deal to all this, other than going in and putting in another few CEU hours that I had completed in the meantime (not planning to need to log them for ADA CDR). > > I got my notification letter that all my requirements for cycle ending 5/31/08 were met on Jan 24, 2006. Even when I was a " stay at home mom " , I had my hours completed in advance and extra ones. > > When it comes to staying up on what is going on, I don't think 75 comes nearly close enough to what we need. ADA membership provides something like 4 hours of CEU every month with the Journal free of charge. There are several other " free " hours out there if you keep your eyes open. > > MEH > > > > > > Ellen Hansson, MEd, RD, LDN > ISeeSpots Farm > Sheep: Lambs, adults, wool > www.iseespots.com > >
