Guest guest
Liz, Alot of women with implants have normal lab work but are certainly experiencing alarming symptoms of ill health. It is actually very frustrating to be so sick and yet have all normal blood tests or lab work. It makes for a very frustrating experience with doctors because they tend to write us off as hypochondriacs or something worse. Just because the lab work appears normal does not mean that you are okay though. I think you can vouch for that! Sometimes the MD's fail to look for certain things. If they don't ask the right questions, they won't find the right answers! Eventually, however, some women who have normal blood work at first wind up with abnormal test results down the road. This happens quite often with autoimmune disease. In fact, it is quite common for people who develop autoimmune disease to have to wait several years with declining health before they can get a firm diagnosis because lab work does not give a clear picture in the beginning stages of these types of diseases. They share overlapping symptoms, so often the diagnosis comes later. In the meantime people suffer and are usually given toxic immune suppressing drugs. The good news is that we see women who have developed abnormal blood work get explanted and in time their blood work can go back to normal! Now that is exciting and an event to be truly celebrated! That's our proof that implants are causing illness. So many women have gotten better. It's not a coincidence. Doctors who don't acknowledge the dangers associated with implants are doing a disservice to their patients, and a disservice to the human race. I was reading a prior message from you in regards to lab results appearing normal. Is this true? When I asked my doctor if my symptoms could be a result of my implants she said surely not because all my lab work was normal. LizRogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: Liz,Welcome to the group . . . It's insane because they are telling women it's safeto have babies and nurse with breast implants - yetthey've never tested the children - after 40 years! Why? . . . Guest guest
Liz, I'm relieved your baby is normal . . . Big Wheeeeeeeew! Just as a caution though . . . If/when your baby needs medication, be sure there is NO silicone dioxide in the medicine. . . Lots of preparations for children contain them. (Including vitamins) . . Ask the pharmacist! . . . If necessary, they can mix a medication for you without the silicone dioxide . . You'll need to see a " forumlating pharmacist " though . .. . Most just dispense pills and ready made concoctions! And . . . start early and keep your child on a very health y diet. . . NO sugar! . . . teach him to enjoy veggies and fruits early on. I don't know that your son will get sick otherwise, but I promise you that, if he does, it will be difficult getting him back on his feet. It appears that by avoiding silicones and eating healthy, even the kids who get sick do much, much better. It's strange that you would get sick right after nursing, but your baby didn't get sick! . . . You are soooo blessed! . . . You can't imagine what some of the mothers are going through! I started the SiliconeKids group for their families. Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
Liz, I have the same symptoms you do. I got Saline implants feb 22 2005 shortly after had the numbness tingeling. All my test come back normal. All doctors will tell you that you are crazy but you are not. I would say its the implants, I only pray that your baby didn't get sick from the milk from breast feeding. I am going to Dr. Kolb in Atlanta to get mine removed on May 24th and can't wait. I also know that she does take insurance. Donna
