Guest guest
This morning I tried to switch my email for this and all other Yahoo groups to which I belong. Didn't work. Drat. This has been a horrendous week for stress, both at work and at home. :-( Last night I decided to self-medicate with " comfort food. " It's defintely helping, so far (though I realize I can't keep it up for too long before I reach the point of diminishing returns). If I can't find a way to make Yahoo accept my new address, I may be disappearing from all these lists next month. Or else I'll have to quit them all and rejoin, I guess. Bother. Does anyone know why in a message from Yahoo with a " click here " (to acknowledge that my change-of-address was authentic) my brand-new, almost-top-of-the-line Eurdora and Mac do not make that an active link? I don't see the URL. What I see is something like Click here to confirm. Except it's underlined and obviously meant to be a clickable link. Further down in the message it says, " If that doesn't work, you can copy and paste this URL into your browser window. " I tried that, too. Trouble is, it didn't work. The URL took me to a page where I was able to click to confirm, but the confirmation didn't " take. " My email address (for the various groups) didn't change. Not even for one group.
