Guest guest
Hi, I need your input please. I am calculating protein needs for a vegetarian client I am seeing for outpatient weight loss. I am using 0.8g-1.0g/kg body weight given her sedentary lifestyle. She has a BMI of 43. My question is should I use the adjusted or the actual BW to figure out grams of protein needed per day? Ideal BW: 51kg Actual BW: 109kg Adjusted Body Weight: 70kg Any help/feedback would be much appreciated! Understanding her needs can help us brainstorm sources of protein and portion sizes that would fit with her busy lifestyle. Thank you in advance!
