Guest guest
Hi ; Thank you. The walk is 5 km around a lake. It is called Flame of Hope Walk, it's held every year in Newfoundland and people just give a donation for the cause. Guest guest
What do you mean 2.7 and 3's my meters show in the tens and hundreds low on my meter is 27 high is 300 I have no decimals. I f you feel that low and are alone instead of trying to test try taking some orange juice or something then test in 15 min it will be easier to test and if you were high you won't go that much higher and you can then treat the high. If you are still low take some more oj or something then test again in another 15 min. Lots of luck Don and Penguinie the pumper penguin O- /'()\
Guest guest
Hi Susie I took my morning at 7:45am and experience the low 11:45am. Does that help you? My exercise level is still the same. I usually walk about 45 mins everyday after lunch and go to aerobics 2 nights a week. It has a kind of sharp peak at 4 hours. If your meals are not timed to catch it right, results can be unpleasant. I'm no doc or even a type 1, but I would think ratcheting down that 7:45 injection ... maybe 3 units at a time? ... would be an excellent idea, Gail. Or, depending on your meal and exercise schedule, you might want to try N in the morning, for its gentler peak. Susie

Guest guest
Hi Don When I say 2.7 it is in mmol/l. After checking bg's level I did drink some oj and then I got some lunch. Thank you. Guest guest
Hi Gail, Glad it worked out I was not familiar with the measurements as my meters use U.S. measures not the metric. Now I know and will understand. Always glad to be of service. Don and Penguinie the pumper penguin O- /'()\
Guest guest
Hi Gail. If you get low am readings, and your day-before physical activities were usual, you should consider reducing your bedtime insulin by one IU at a time. Change and to days of testing inbetween till you are satisfied with your readings. Guest guest
Hi Robin, I did find it very scary when I experienced the low reading. It happened again the other at 2.6. So I lowered my morning insulin by 2 units. This seems to working.
