hi - just a fast question - i am so determined to get in control of my life

- ate at 4 - took sugars just now -- 227 - is that high for most meal sugars?

Yes, it's high. Tell us what you ate. This is great to do this in real time

girl ... I'm hoping you sign back on ... I just want to add something ...

when we are at last able to lose pounds, WOW - what a difference it makes in our

insulin resistance! Those are two goals most type 2's can dive right into ...

cut back on the calories and the carbohydrates ... and try to move about more

.... and as your health situation improves, the workouts can get more vigorous.

There is now scientific proof that just jiggling your foot all day while sitting

at a desk or bouncing your arms makes a difference. ((Hey! Just tell others you

are practicing the " Chicken Dance " !)

I'm off to do some outdoor chores for a bit .. will keep checking ...

Figure out 10,000 ways to fix salads, . It is such a bummer to be hungry

.... day after day ... We quit dieting after awhile. Eat salads ... You must feel

full in order to be able to keep on with your eating style. Keep chatting and we

will give you some ideas ... Those little packages of thin-sliced dried beef,

chopped up ... chopped hard-boiled eggs ... chick peas ... celery ... lettuce

.... tomatoes ... cucumbers ... cauliflower ... broccoli ... green beans ...

peanuts ... sunflower seeds ... green olives ... Use a dressing that is homemade

and a good combo of low-carbohydrate and low-fat ... or buy one off the shelf.

to treatment, at least for type 2's, like you and I are. Once you begin changing

the way you eat, you will be amazed ... in three days, you will be flabbergasted

explain the high readings/low readings/high readings/low readings seesaw we go

through).
