Guest guest
Mikey is home (came home Thursday afternoon) and is doing relatively well. He is having a bit of pain, but not too bad. He showered this afternoon to get that hospital smell off him, and that pretty much wore him out. He went to bed early (about 7:30) and is resting. He is still taking all his BP and Diabetes meds, but his acid reflux has disappeared already - WOOHOO!!!! While he was in the hospital they were able to finally get his blood ugars down, but it took abut a gallon of insulin to do it. The doc's think it will now stay down and he will be able to get off the diabetes meds very soon. Thanks again for all the kind words, e-mails, and prayers. I am thrilled to have him home and sleeping next to me. We both rest better when we can snuggle throughout the night (ain't that romantic...gag). This is a wonderful group of loving friends and I am so glad and blessed to be a part of it! Guest guest
Jodi, I am so happy to hear Mike is doing so well and resting. After surgery I sleep allot when I came home, I think this is what my body was telling me...REST. He will be off diabetes med soon, I did and I was already injecting insulin in my stomach plus to add all the other meds I was having. It turn my world upside down. Now I am better than ever and my sugar level is down to 100 or even less when I was on insulin I was hitting up to 450 to 500 then it came down so low it made me crash and my driver's license was taken away for a month and 3 year probation proving that I had to be OK. I had no other choice. I am praying this will help him get to his old self again just like I am living right now again. You pamper yourself too, and Happy New Year to both of you and mom too.
