I agree with Peach. While each of us is entitled to our own opinion of

other groups and individuals I don' t want this group to become a forum

for public bitchy or negative comments about them. I hope we can be

better than that. I know several members joined to get away from

negative attitudes and back biting on other groups. In fact, I am one of

them! So let's not descend to their level. Factual comments are fine,

such as " the abc group was too big for me " or " the xyz group did not

meet my needs " . So can we please limit ourselves to this type of

comment?

BTW my remarks are not intended to be aimed at any one individual on

this group. If as moderator I have any particular concerns about a post

I will address the member directly and in private. I have seen problems

start in groups where one member or the moderator publicly chastises

another member and then people starts taking sides. That is very

destructive to the group.

If any of you are unhappy about a post please contact me (or Robyn when

she gets back) directly and we will deal with it. Obviously this does

not apply to overt flaming or spamming which hopefully we will pick up

ourselves!

Another group that I am one has every message moderated because of

problems in the past. This really spoils the natural flow of the

discussion and I would hate to see that happen to our happy little band.

ok gonna try this a second time ... i messed up the first time and

lost it...

just to add to my last post about other groups that i belong to...

i also belong to the post op group and many here do also... even if

they dont visit it often ect...

i firmly believe that each group has issues and each group is only

as good as the sum of its members... I love the post op group and

will support it forever, it was there for me when i needed help and

i wont forget that, even when i dont agree with things... I do speak

up and fight for what i think is right... please dont allow this

group become a place to talk bad about any other group... this is a

wonderful support group with wonderful members...
