Guest guest
Hi and everyone I have diazpam at home, in 2mg per tablet. How would I make that tiny tablet 0.25mg? Or do I need to get it in a liquid form? Thanks Re: update - vitamins, blood vessels> > > Dear ,> > > You said:> > <<Thanks for your reply and all your information. Tell me about your experiences with it. Regards,
Guest guest
The two drugs are not the same. epam is the same thing as Valium. Xanax's generic name is alprazolam. I was on Valium during my taper off Ativan. I switched to Valium when I got to 1/4 a pill in the Ativan. It was easy to do the taper for me with 2 mg tablets. I started with a whole tablet for 2 weeks. Then I went to 3/4 a tablet (1/2 + 1/4) for two weeks. Then I went to 1/2, and then 1/4 (each for a week). I had no symptoms other some mild anxiety the last two weeks. After that, I used the Valium only a couple of times when I felt really strong anxiety coming on. I still keep it in my purse, but I haven't used it in months. I also keep Rescue Remedy handy. Dawn At 02:55 PM 10/24/2004, you wrote: Hi and everyone I have diazpam at home, in 2mg per tablet. Guest guest
Hi , Re: Fw: URGENT. Correction needed (I think) You said:> I have had diazepam before, it used to make me feel warm and calm like being wrapped in cotton wool. But when I took some during some violent shaking it didn't do much at all.>> ** It's not going to address everything. I6t will help if your anxiety is very high.I think the anxiety is better than it used to be, maybe because I am not going out at all at the moment, maybe it is because of the considerable support I get from you and the rest of the group. You said:> > Is there anything, you can give to help with this muscle weakness, it is getting worse. It feels like when you havent eaten for ages. >> ** Please write out everything you are taking right now, the dose and the frequency. Are you still doing the whey protein? Please let me know what else you are eating.OK, here goes. On the supplement side I am taking, 1 omacor fish oil tablet ( which says it comprises 46%EPA and 38%DHA) in the morning and 1 tablet of the horse chestnut( it doesn’t give me a quantity) Then after lunch I take 400mg of mag. citrate. Then a few hours after I take 5 tablets of the GOatein and then at night time I take another omacor and another horse chestnut. Today I am going to add in the gingko as you have said to. On the food side, pretty much the same as when we originally discussed my food demons. Breakfast is usual weetabix and toast and orange juice. Lunch is usually a sandwich ( cheese or egg) a piece of cake and an apple. Dinner is usually tofu, beans, lentils something like that, with either pasta, potatoes or rice and then probably a yoghurt. And then maybe cereal or a banana before bed. > > I have some Gingko , it is a brand called Postlethwaites, it is in a liquid form and is 2-3 times a day 30 drops. Is this one OK?>> ** Begin with just 1x a day, 30 drops for one day. Let me know any changes. The 2nd day go to 30 drops 2x a day. Don't be looking for massive changes. That's not how things work. You said:> > I feel so dreadful today, I just feel so tired that I want to sleep all the time, I slept again last night for 10 hrs and didn't wake once.>> ** You need to sleep a lot right now. That is how your body best heals. Please sleep when you feel like it.I do need to try and do some kind of exercise though, even though the muscles are screaming? You said:> > The doctor wants me to take a drug to stop the sickness, I am not certain.>> ** Yes, like the same kind of drug that began the sickness? This is called addiction. It takes time to recover from it. This is the doctor that got you into this mess, right? I'd say it's time to use the intuition you were born with and not allow the doctor to talk you into anything. At the same time, try to stop looking to the doctor fro rsolution to this problem. She doesn't have it. If you complain to her she is going to want to do something--anything. The doctor that started me on the seroxat, was back where I used to live. The doctors here switched me to the cipromil. I worry , I worry that if my PC goes offline, and I am ill I cant contact you and they will give me something, and I wont have you to ask. Shall I just put up with the sickness? It is not so bad, as I am not going out. The road to recovery is long, . It's been several weeks for you so far, right? You have a way to go yet. You were damaged by the antidepressant. Healing will take some time. Just keep posting and look to Glitter as your role model for this. I have been off just 8 weeks. Glitter is great, I think she is amazing. I have the book called Mood Cure that you recommended it came through this morning, just have to find some concentration now. One day life will be better again, the sickness will stop, the diarrhoea will stop, the aches and weakness will stop and maybe even the heart pounding, and oh I so look forward to the day when the feet don’t hurt. One day, we will all be a lot better. Thanks and everyone for all your continuous support, encouragement and love. Love xTo subscribe to the off-topic list go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/socialWandR/
