POSITION JOB TITLE: Clinical Dietician Opportunities

DESCRIPTION:

Fairview Health Services seeks two clinical dieticians to join our team at

University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview. One position works with adult

bone marrow transplant and ICU patients, while the other works with

inpatient/outpatient bariatric and cystic fibrosis patients.

As a part of the health care team, you will identify patients at nutrition risk,

assess nutrition needs according to age and disease specific requirements and

develop, implement and monitor the nutrition care plan and outcomes of

intervention. You’ll also provide nutrition education to patients, families,

health care professionals and the community. You may be called upon to precept

dietetic interns/students and participate in performance improvement and

research activities.

Our ideal candidate has three or more years of acute care experience and a BS or

BA in nutrition or dietetics. You must be a registered dietician.

HOURS:

Adult BMT and ICU (Req. #07-19097)

· Full-time, Monday-Friday and every eight weekend

Bariatric and cystic fibrosis (Req. #07-19098)

· Part-time, days
