[Modoasis] yet again learning THE lesson

Hi!

So I guess b/c I keep learning this lesson over and over I should learn it

and NOT have it as a lesson any more. Any time daughter and I get into

further contact with nada in terms of trying to help her out during a

hurricane or after her surgery, ETC!!!! this does NOT work out at all. I

can't believe someone who would need other people during such natural

disasters, etc. continues to just manipulate, control, use us, and then if

we " abandon " her during the hurricane (daughter and I tried to leave town

and without her) she calls and whines to everyone how she was left alone

(but her husband was around) and they try to rescue her b/c they don't want

her left alone, etc. BLAH BARF

Ok, so now I remember my therapist saying that as long as she has people to

rescue her she will get no better. That means daughter and I can be out of

contact or mostly so, but as long as these other people let her whine and

believe her stories and try to rescue, it's still a hopeless case.

So, I guess I just have to become what she would call " hard hearted " and not

help her during or after or before natural disasters, surgeries, injuries,

or death, for crying out loud. And all those rescuers of hers will just

have to sit around thinking I am being mean and disrespectful to my

mother. So I just have to deal with it. Sure continues to suck, though
