I don't know much about my own computer, an HP with

Windows 98 and an AOL ISP, and nothing about Mac and

Eudora, but I wonder what your idea of " comfort food "

is? Mac an Cheese would be my guess - warm, tasty,

and loaded with carbohydrates. Followed by a slice

of chocolate cream pie. Mmmmmm!

One of my favorites too. Best with some tuna in it.

Macaroni and cheese seem to be a big favorite among people like us.

I'd certainly keep that in mind if I were catering an event for autistic

people.

Please offer something else too... I *hate* Mac and Cheese! I won't

describe what I think of it because I understand some people can swallow

it without gagging, but...

Okay, what's Your idea of " comfort food " ? I brought it up

because it seemed interesting what Jane and others thought

would fit the description. There are no wrong answers,

only preferences.

Clay, who usually adds fried ground hamburger to Mac and

Cheese, and tops it off with a lot of Louisiana Hot Sauce.

PS. Strictly speaking, " comfort food " isn't defined by how

easy it is to prepare, but how it makes you feel good after

you've eaten. Turkey is supposed to be good for that.

I think I " got it " . Could it be that it reminds you of the

Klingon delicacy called " Gock " (live wiggling wormy things)?

Last night (after work) I was so tired (due to a week's

worth of stress at home and at work) that I didn't have

the competence to prepare food. Not even to take

something from the freezer and put it in the microwave.

Fortunately, I happened to have on hand a bag of my

most recent " junk food " find, something called Soy

Crisps. Opening the bag was about all I could manage.

Once I got it open, I ate the entire bag's worth for

dinner. I was thirsty afterwards, of course, so I had

a bottle of " Naked " (that's a brand name) juice.

For dinner tonight, I had pizza, a long-time favorite

comfort food. And I bought a pint of frozen yogurt to

have in the freezer just in case my stress level rises

tomorrow when I try again to impose filters on Eurdora.

Agreed.

How about Spaghettios?

Crunchy peanutbutter and marshmallow is another favorite of mine...

Steak is always good too, although it's a wee bit too expensive to be

comfort food. :)

Yes, carbs = comfort for me. I have no intention of giving them up. My

favorites would be vegetarian spaghetti (with cheese), pizza, bread, any

pasta; and of course, homemade french-fries.
