Guest guest
Does anyone know if a transplant recipient has rights (other than under FMLA) with an employer that has less than 50 people? A potential recipient’s employer is stating they do not have to grant her medical leave after transplant since they only employ about 20 people. If she loses her insurance through her employer, she will not have coverage at our facility and will not be able to undergo her living donor transplant. Any advice is much appreciated.
