Guest guest
Dear posters, I just wanted to give a should out to all of you who have rager nadas. I do not--mine is a shaky-voiced gaslighting chinese water torturer. But I have recently moved next door to a rager. Two nights this past week, she has woken me yelling at her son to 'git out of my house', yelling for hours, at 2 and 3 am. Since my nada was different, it does not trigger me, but it is still a terrible experience. As I cuddled my dog last night at 2:45, listening to her yell, trying to decide whether to call the cops, I thought of all of you with ragers, and wished you much peace and love. Also I wanted to say thanks for the poem that was posted for me awhile back; I was very touched! Charlie
Guest guest
Thanks for the thought, Charlie My nada used to be more of a rager but now she has kinda turned into more of a passive-aggressive SOAB !!! She still rages at her husband, though. But she knows not to do that bit on me any more. but her passive aggressive crap is just as aggravating !! Guest guest
I can't decide which is scarier; my nada is a rager and it is at least easy to figure out when she is trying to destroy me...it still leave me shaking. Her torture is in lying; there is no defense against a 'devastated/crying/screaming' woman lamenting anyone who will listen that her daughter hates her/is mentally ill anyway. Carol C. Guest guest
Charlie, Maybe calling the cops would make you feel better or at least sleep better. Most times when the cops are called in domestic violence situations the original caller is left w/anonimity. I've called the cops on my neighbors before- in childhood and adulthood. Wish I had thought to call them on my nada. Ragers do suck. My nada was one and I'm done w/it. People can control their behaviors though their emotions are harder to regulate w/bpd. None-the-less, they've got a choice in raging if they chose to act like an adult. I suppose that would make them more of a borderline in recovery though, huh? Guest guest
Charlie, Thanks for the thought. I've had more raging neighbors than I want to remember. I've called the police on a few. Once, with smoke billowing out their windows, I called. The police hauled her, her enabling bf and some marijuana plants out. Guest guest
Charlie---thank you for the sweet post. And Non-BP, thankyou for the chuckle. Good for you! I once called the police on my nada. She was raging at my door and I just didn't want to see her. The car was in the garage and although she suspected I was home she couldn't prove it so I called and said I was a concerned neighbor---she was furious!
