Cindi,

Isn't that the weirdest feeling? At risk of ticking off everyone who is

still working towards goal this maintenance thing is a whole new ball

game! Like you I am terrified of becoming complacent and thinking I can

get away with being " bad " . I used to be so disparaging when I read posts

from people complaining that they were still losing after reaching goal.

Okay I'm sure it's easy to stop losing - just consume more calories!

However it's tough to find the balance between losing and gaining and

dealing with the constant fear of " overdoing it " .

My strategy right now is going to be constant monitoring, gain a pound -

lose a pound. Right now I'm still losing, so I will add calories little

by little until that stops. It is just another new learning process. But

boy am I happy to be dealing with it!

Guess I just must not be a good multi tasker. LOL! Plus, I have a dial

up connection at work, so it can be slow going sometimes...

BTW, I weighed this morning. Still 155. I can't believe it. I haven't

been exercising and have been eating way too much. Boy, I cannot let

that go to my head and think I can get away with this kind of behavior

all the time!!!

I know! I used to read those posts and think B!#@h. Now I'm struggling to keep

my weight steady without gaining. This, for me, is the scariest part of the

journey. I have been able to lose weight many times before, but I have never

been able to maintain that loss. I'm hoping with diligence and my pouch I can

manage it. Actually, my face looked better when I was about five pounds heavier(

which was still 15 lbs below my goal), but I know if that scale starts going up

it's going to freak me out...
