Dear nne,

One dose of Xanax will not cause you any problems unles you are

allergic to it. Have you ever taken a benzodiazepine?

Dear Ro: I never had any bad reactions from xanax. I'm not promoting it's use, but there are times when if I hadn't had it, I don't know what I would've done. If you feel that the tests you need to have done are too overwhelming (I understand -- I had to have a shot of Valium to have a neck MRI!) then take a small amount -- it certainly quells that runaway anxiety. I hope everything turns out okay and it's nothing serious.

Hi catherine , I havent had a benzodiazepine , except maybe 24 years ago with a minor surgury.. they did it I V . it was valium and I think they did alot.. of it then they knocked me totally out.. back then I never had a problem with meds at all..its in my adult life that I am more sensitive.. thanks nne

Hey,, well I took it and it just made me sleepy.. not the BANG reaction I was expecting.. I came home and fell asleep for awhile ( some intense dreams ) but now starting to feel normal.. Well I made it thru it and they were able to prop my head with 2 pillows so I could see my feet and it was fine.. and I dont know if it was the xanex or what but the rocking dizzy feeling was less ... hum??? thanks nne
