Guest guest
I am home from surgery and the worst part is the gas pains. I am taking chewable GAS X The pain is worst than my incision. I have really watched what I eat. It is not really unbearable just really hurts a lot. It takes a lot of pain to do me in. I haven't taken any pain meds yet. Thankfully. I am not doubled over or anything. Any suggestions. On another note. I was scheduled for surgery yesterday morning at 11:00 we received a call before I went under that we are getting a baby boy that was just born at 8:30 am. I go pick him up tomorrow. We are foster parents. Also, it is going to be so hard to keep surgery a " secret " from my family since I can't drive for three weeks and now I have all of this with the baby. No one is going to understand not being able to just go do what I need to without Mike. Jane
Guest guest
Jane, Welcome home and to fertileville. Sorry you are having trouble with gas pains. I don't know if you can do this or not but when my mom had cancer the doctor told her to rub her stomach with baby oil. I know you have the incision site but I thought maybe around the site. Have you tried Mylecon (sp) drops? They are supposed to be really good. Good luck and hope to hear a +++++++ hpt from you soon. love to you, moe Re: gas pains > I am home from surgery and the worst part is the gas pains. > I am taking chewable GAS X > The pain is worst than my incision.
