Guest guest
I had endometriosis too - ended up with a total hysterectomy and ovary removal from the extensive implants - they had even invaded the uterine walls. You are right about the pain associated with it! not fun Sandi NE
Guest guest
I wish they would do that for me but because i am only 23 years old, and although i do not want children and never have, all the doctors i have seen think i will change my mind because i am so young and will not perform the procedure. instead they decided it would be a good idea to put me into a drug induced metopause, which has only created more problems for me and put me into unbearable pain. Now no doctor wants to help me. I had a laproscopy done in April, and ever since i have been in constant pain. I was told that too many surgeries just produce more scar tissue, which also causes pain, so all the docs are against doing another one for a while. So i just remain in constant pain with mild pain killers, cause i " might be one of those drug seekers " lying about my condition. haha. if only that was true. I wish that was all it was, then i would be ok without the pills but thats not the cause. I am unable to even work without something so its good that the pain management doc gives me something at least. Guest guest
I was able to have kids after I had that done. Couldn't before. After they pulled up the " Baby Carriage " and removed those implants I was able to get pregnant. Had number one son...then a set of twins....that was enuff. Guest guest
Keri, Which fantastic " mild " drugs are they willing to give you? I love hearing about how they think things like ultram and ultracet are the end all and be all of pain relief. What are you taking? I've heard that endometriosis is terrible. It's a shame they won't listen to you about not wanting children. With the endometriosis, would it even be possible for you to have them? With the induced menopause, I would think that would make it impossible to get pregnant too. Maybe you need another opinion or three?
