white speckles on lower legs

Hi All, I wanted to check on this symptom which is as far as I can tell, new to me. I have been sitting in the sun and gotten some tan on the front lower legs. Although, the muscle mass is improving, there are some white speckles scattered around the tanned area. I have thyroid and adrenal issues.
