RE: Probiotic in buttermilk?

Don't know about buttermilk, but sure could find a probiotic capsule to ADD to

buttermilk! Culturelle and Garden of Life, (shoot, forget the name of their

probiotic, but it's from their website/product line) are two good ones.

What about that Kefir?? I was thinking that was a probiotic milk? Shopping

the isle, I noticed a milk product with acidophilis...I am going crazy?

Nope, not crazy. Actually, REAL, unpasteurized milk was good in that it did

contain more natural, healthy bacteria. When we pasteurize, we prevent some

problems while creating others.

Kefir is a lot like a drink my Finn mother used to make. Started some

culture. . . left the culture in the milk to sit on the counter for a day or so.

.. .

then chilled and drank it. . . Was very traditional.
