Everything looks good except your TSH is high and your glucose is

slightly high. Anything over a 2.0 on TSH is suspect and yours is close

to 3 so I would think you need more thyroid.

Hi, I'm new to the group. I cannot believe I found others who have the same problem. 6 months ago I ended up in the ER with rapid pulse, shaking, etc. They ran a TSH, it was 20. I then went to my gyn and had blood work done again. My TSH was 11, and T3, T4 in low range. She prescribed synthroid. Thank God I only took 1/4 dose. I flipped out with extreme hyper symptoms. She didn't know why that happened. I then tried Armor that I got thru the mail, same thing happened. I was referred to an endo, but didn't want to go after all the bad reactions I had. I have been researching ever since, and just taking care of myself as best I can. I then found out about the adrenal thing, and knew that was my problem, as I have been treated for low adrenal function before, years ago. I have ordered isocort, am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I have been taking sone liquid adrenal cortex in the meantime. I have an appt.

w/orthomolecular MD on Tuesday, the one who treated me for adrenal problems. So, I am looking foreward to feeling better, as this past 6 months have been you know what! My thyroid antibodies are very high, and I have been suffering from night time thyroiditis, which can be triggered by any iodine I ingest, stress, exercise, etc. Anyway, I am so happy to find you guys! wrote: I would encourage adrenal testing as low Cortisol CAN make you feel totally crazy!-- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WVMy Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Christy, this is becoming a pet peeve of mine, the fact that doctors do

not test adrenal function before prescribing thyroid meds and many that

aren;t even aware it can be a problem! There is NO EXCUSE for this! I

you read prescribing info for Armour or Synthroid both say that adrenal

insufficiency should be corrected before prescribing thyroid meds. I

wonder how many other prescribing instructions they ignore as well.

MK:

I had my heart functions checked in January. Since I was very athletic before I got Lyme and since they compare you to a clinical population with heart problems, they said I had mild mitral valve regurgitation and aeortic valve regurgitation. I got a lecture on how everyone has it by 30. I also got heavily billed, my ins decided not to pay much and they want me to pay them 3k.

I was a long distance swimmer and was always emotional and figured the rapid heart rate was from adrenaline. When I was relaxed my heart could get down to 67-70 when laying down. It usually was in the 80s. Today it was in the 130s after I planted some rose bushes in the heat. It was generally in the 90s most of the day and now is back down to the 80s. But I always feel anxiety even when completely physically relaxed so that is why I posted earlier about how to find out if you have too much adrenaline and what causes it.

Hi ,

I too struggle with a high pulse, so I'm always interested when

someone touches on the subject. What was your pulse, and was it

different than it normally was? Have you ever had your heart

function checked, for things like MVP (Mitral Valve Prolapse), etc?

Hi ,

Lymes spirocetes can go into the heart muscle so it seems it would be

very important for you to take it easy if you feel a strain re. your

heart. Like the rest of Lymes it tends to move from place to place in

your body hopefully not staying in the heart very long but when it is

there take it very easy....until it passes.

Peace, Love and Harmony,

Bev

Hi ,

I'm not sure what a normal heart rate acceleration for moderate/mild

exercise like planting would be. I feel like I ONCE knew, but I'm

so used to crazy, skyrocketing rates now, that I just don't

remember.

I'm also not sure about how to test for adrenaline levels. Sorry I

couldn't be more helpful!
