Guest guest
We have several active listed patients that are pre-dialysis with Medi-Cal. Now we have received a denial on a patient from Medi-Cal stating it is not a covered service if the patient is not on dialysis. This came from the Medical Director......Does anyone know where I can find their protocol or criteria? I have looked at the Medi-Cal website for this, but found nothing on Kidney transplant. na Casillas Transplant Financial Coordinator Loma University Medical Center Transplantation Institute fax scasillas@... Guest guest
Suzanna, I have never heard of this before and we have patients actively listed not on dialysis. Is it Dr. P? I haven’t seen any protocols but I can certainly reach out and see what I can find.
