Guest guest
I'm afraid I am not a good person to talk to about cost of cigarettes, as my husband has severe asthma and allergies, and we are very rabid anti-smoking. I try to control my feelings about it around other people, and most people who smoke are very conscious of not being irritating about it. I just wish people who want to quit, could quit. It's SOOOO addictive! My brother has smoked since he was a teenager, and has tried to quit, but hasn't been able to. He's an alcoholic in recovery, and just can't kick both at once. My stepson is also a smoker and my husband talked to him about it and he told him that he could only quit one addiction at a time (he's a recovering drug addict). This is one product I wish had never been introduced in the marketplace in the first place. They put all kinds of things in there that make it impossible to quit once you start. I actually read or heard somewhere that it is more addictive than heroin. That makes me very glad that I never started! I also don't drink, but that's only because of my medications. I don't want to spend my whole night hanging over the toilet (ACK, can you think of something worse??? LOL) I sure could go for a margarita sometimes though, ya know?
