Good Morning , I am hopeful that this will reach

you. I use to receive e-mails from the group but for some reason I was unable

to reply to any of them. I believe it was due to the firewall here at our

hospital. Can you please help me with information regarding your programs

policy on VAD and transplants with Medicare only insurance? In the past we have

required our patients to have a Medicare supplement for both procedures but

have run in to some difficulty lately with the patients being able to purchase

them and the physician not seeing the need to have them. Do you

know of others I can approach with this question? We know the need of the

supplements to help our patient have adequate coverage but some of the physicians

do not see our reasoning. Just wondering who else may be having this situation

come up and their process to work with it.
