Guest guest
Oh wow, I'm really having major symptoms. It could be things are aggravated for me right now because my body is still trying to adjust to taking H/C but it's tough - migraine, nausea, fatigue, feel like I'm starving even though what I ate fro breakfast and lunch should have been enough. How to handle this? I know that if I have something with sugar it will make me feel better sooner than if I don't (protein and other foods take a long time) but I want to avoid sugar because of candida problems. Any ideas on how to handle this? I don't imagine bearing with it is the answer, it's stressful on the body being hypoglycemic. Also, when people on this group use the term hypo are they refering to hypoglycemia, hypo thyroid or hypo adrenals? Elyse
Guest guest
Usually we are talking about hypothyroid when we talk about hypo. I know that is how I use it and I usually say low cortisol rather than hypoadrenal because it is more correct for adrenal fatigue. The hunger you are feeling is most likely from the T3 getting into your cells. It is pumping your metabolism up where you need more fuel to compensate. this is what happened to me when i went from 20MG to 30MG a day with HC. Suddenly I was losing weight and felt starving all the time. It was not affecting my blood sugar just making me hungry.. a NORMAL hunger that I had not felt in years due to hypothyroid. I eat when I am hungry! It has not caused more weight gain and I am now eating more per day than I have ever dare to and not gaining at all. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
OK, then how do yu suggest I handle t - I have a killer headache running through my eyeballs, my whole head feels like it's in a vice. If it is the T3 then I guess I'm going through a progression of things so that's good, but do I grin and bear it or is there something I can do about it? Guest guest
It does sound to me like it's best to eat when your hungry, afterall it is a signal telling us the body needs it. I don't really understand the whole mechanism of the T3 getting into my cells etc, but when my head clears a little I'll read up on it. Guest guest
Well I take good old aspirin for headaches, which I was going through a bottle of 100 a month or MORE when I was on 4 grains Armour and no adrenal support. Now I take maybe 2 aspirin a MONTH! -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
OK I'll do that. This does remind me though about a couple of warnings a friend sent me about taking cortisone which I'll copy and paste:>Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications,>including vitamins, minerals, and herbal products, during treatment with>hydrocortisone without first talking to your doctor. Many other medicines>can interact with hydrocortisone resulting in side effects or altered>effectiveness of the medications.Do you know what should be avoided ? I take a number of supplements and have been wondering about taking hydrochloric acid and enzymes at the same time as H/C. Guest guest
I doubt the enzymes would cause a problem but the hydrochloric Acid may cause stomach irritatin when taken with it. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Any thing that might cause stomach irritation, may also make th4 irritation from HC or any adrenal med worse. Antibiotics should be avoided under any circumstances unless truly necessary. Antidepressants can alter brain chemicals where thyroid cannot heal the brain correctly. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
What happens with antibiotics and HC? I have to be on them due to chronic Lyme? -- Re: hypoglycemic Any thing that might cause stomach irritation, may also make th4 irritation from HC or any adrenal med worse. Guest guest
>>What happens with antibiotics and HC?<< It is not particularly with HC but just antibiotics them selves can wreak havoc with your system. You should avoid any of the newer antibiotics especially the fluoro??? Anything with fluo in it's name. Levaquin is horrid! Guest guest
I know about the fluroquinalones, I have an achiles tendon problem from Cipro, Floxin, etc that was needed for Bartonella, that often comes with Lyme. I thought there was some particular reaction with HC and antibiotics you were referring to. I have to be on antibiotics for Lyme, long-term since the bugs are in my brain and heart valves as well as joints, tendons, ligaments, you name it, Lyme migrates there. -- Re: hypoglycemic >>What happens with antibiotics and HC?<< It is not particularly with HC but just antibiotics them selves can wreak havoc with your system.
