Hey guys, this question is directed to those who use and are familiar with magnesium oil. I have magnesium cream and it burns my skin so bad, and I read about cutting mag oil with distilled water, and recall people on here recommending that. Can magnesium cream be cut with water? I'm not sure how that would work.

I would like to use it up before purchasing the mag oil.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mag oil is not actually oil but the flakes dissolved in water. For the cream,

it like is oil based meaning it would separate from water (although you can try

it). Maybe you can dilute with an oil like olive oil which is also good for the

skin.

If your mag cream is too strong I would mix it with a mild cream/lotion that you can tolerate (that doesn't contain any toxic ingredients) - something basic.  Or perhaps aloe vera gel would work.  let us know if you try it.

I don't think that trying to mix skin cream & water will work

Hi ,

It is common for those using magnesium cream to also complain about it initially

stinging, just like using mag oil...

I am not sure what kind of base is used to produce the cream, try a small amount

and cut it with distilled water, if it mixes okay, then it would be okay to

use..

Mag oil is typically cut with 50% distilled water...

Take care,

Jim
