Guest guest
I have the trembling all the time. It seems like it is almost worse since I started the HC. Is this possible?Anxiety seems higher also. And I get dizzy an hour after I take it. I had to up the xanex to barely get through the day. I also have the trembling at night. This has been going on for a year now. or longer probably just got worse. Liz I am wondering about this also. It seems when I am not able to sleep I notice my heart beating faster and I will try to just lay there and relax, but to no avail I usually end up with my heart racing away and I begin shaking and get a very dry mouth so I am gulping down water. Do you think it's just low blood sugar when it does this in the middleof the night because it will eventually stop racing and then I am totally exhausted and running to the bathroom to pee every few minutes after this happens. All of this seems so ridiculous--and it's really starting to get aggrivating!! I am so emotional during all of this, all I want to do it curl up and cry. Guest guest
Liz this may be just the excess thyroid in your blood going into the cells. Lower the dose of HC a bit for a few days I think it will stop. You are not taking thyroid yet are you? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
> > Hi Robin > > this happens to me every night. I wake up without fail at 1am. If I > am lucky I can get back to sleep until 3am, then I might not be so > lucky. i have had more nights than I care to think about awake from > 1am - wired and very, very, very tired. This is just like me. I wake at the same time every night, and some nights I can get back to sleep and other nights I can't. (Actually I wake many times each night to use the bathroom but then there is the 1:50 wakening that is the problem.) I finally started just getting up once I know I can't get back to sleep, and I suspect this is NOT a good thing to do. But I wake with such nervous energy, and if I lay there all night not sleeping, then I don't have the energy in the morning to do what I need to do. So I get up and do my stuff in the middle of the night, and try to rest during the day. I feel like this is not good for me, but I don't know what else to do. > > The key I have found is to eat something during the night. I think I > wake up because I have become hypoglycemic. I > may need to eat something again 4 hours later. I will start making sure I have a protein snack upstairs where I can grab it easily. I do have, and have always had, bad hypoglycemia. Never considered that would be causing a sleep problem, though. > I have also just bought some melatonin to help me sleep. My tests > showed that I was way below the bottom range for melatonin, so this > could explain my poor sleep patterns. I'm going to give it a go > tonight. I have tried melatonin, GABA, 5-HTP, jujube extract, multi-minerals, can't remember what all else, and all of those things seem to help sometimes but not other times. I will think good thoughts about the melatonin for you! Right now I am trying water soluble magnesium, so we shall see how that goes... > > You might need to up your HC during the day, particularly the > morning, and maybe eat something before you go to bed, especially if > you have an early dinner. Or maybe even take something with you to > eat during the night. See what works for you. I will raise my HC in the morning. I think I will try 10 mg in the morning, 5 mg four hours later, and 5 mg at bedtime. I hate that this is so complicated. It seems just when I get a routine down that I think is working, it stops working. So it seems I am always trying something different. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. As much as I hate that you are going thru this, it does help to know I'm not alone, know what I mean? Robin G.

If that doesn't help, I will juggle it around again. I am wondering, though, what is a good amount of time to try something before you give up and try something else? Robin G.
