Guest guest
Hi All, Thank you very much to those of you who so kindly responded to my request for info. and ideas. You have all 'wised us up' in some way. It's amazing how we would miss some of the many necessary details for our kids if we didn't have this list. It looks as though we are stuck with two general anaethetics at least for Jaecob in the next little while. Unfortunately the opthalmologist has had a heart attack and so is of work for a while. This will mean that there is likely to be a problem getting everything done by the second GA. We need ENT (twice), plastic surgery, opthalmology, orthodontology, and the paed. surgery to do what they need to do within those 2 GAs. Our new Paed. from overseas, who had it altogether on our first appointment with him, has unfortunately had to 'get real' with our hospital system here, and now acknowledges there is no way he can co-ordinate the procedures due to his work load. He has assigned an Outreach Nurse to take care of it though. We even had to tell her that because he didn't have the time to worry about it. Anyway she's good, and happy to take on the challenge. We just hope she doesn't have to 'get real' as well. What we have told them though is that Jaecob will NOT be available July through to mid August. We're off to Houston! - God willing. God bless you all, Bruce, Robyn, and Jaecob CHARgE+ 20 months. Christchurch NZ
