Guest guest
I met with a rep from my hospital's provider network about signing up with them. Does anyone have any experience with these arrangements? For a small annual fee they negotiate contracts with insurance companies, help settle problems and provide a one stop credentialing service for all the plans. I get to pick the plans I want to take part in. There is no risk sharing at this point, although they have done some of that in the past. I think it would provide a good flow of patients into my practice once I get started; however, I'm worried about the paperwork/administrative burden. They seem to be offering better relations with the insurance companies because they speak for many docs. Does this actually work? Thanks for any help.
