I am in Madison, WI Yup a cheesehead :-) It was about 85 here today

or so but the humidity was less today (finally) than what it was all

week. We were in the upper 90's yesterday. Hot enough for me. I am

waiting for Fall to come! My favorite season.

MORNIN,I live in SE Ohio,just outside a little town called Racine,I live on a

small farm in the country.The weather here has been in the upper 90's and

humid,and my pain has been awful.

I'm actually in Sparta, WI...about 2 hours away from Madison. It's hot, I hurt,

but such is life. My daughter and granddaughter are moving in this weekend, and

my wonderful husband is insulating and paneling the attic to give them space.

HI all I know where Sparta is I am in LaValle on Lake Redstone and it

seems to me the humidity is bad. I have Crps, PMR and 5 brain cyst. It

is even hot at night especially when the old hubby turns the fan off

Yeah, I don't much care for Florida. I've been there in November before and

OMGosh, the temps were very mild, but the humidity, you could stir it with a

stick. It was horrible. I swore I'd never retire there and don't know why all

the old folks do. lol

Yeah, that is funny that your doc said you need to be in a warmer climate and to

avoid the cold. lol Knowing where you live. I guess you're supposed to hibernate

in the winter and not come out at all. How depressing would that be?

I live in North Texas,about 15 miles away from Dallas, and its hot enough to fry

an egg on the cement...we have been having record hot days with an excessive

heat advisory through tomorrow night. The humidity is high..68-69%,but nothing

like Florida. I lived there for 4 years and hated it...it was just too

subtropical for me...that kind of weather just saps all the energy out of a

person. I dont know why old folks like to live there,either. The air is way

too heavy to breathe, and most of them are COPDers. Most of them are there

from Thanksgiving through Easter anyway. Florida has 2 seasons..snowbird and

summer. Give me Texas where I can at least go to the mailbox without breaking a

sweat! LOL....Vicki in sweltering,but better than Florida North Texas

Hugs Theresa The high pressures that's keeping everyone so hot is the culprit

for the raised pain levels along with the humidity I'll be glad when Fall

gets here and it's just around the corner.

I've lived in Arlington back in 1980's and OMGosh was it HOT down there. Seemed

much hotter than Oklahoma, but I was used to Tulsa then and Tulsa doesn't seem

to get quite as hot as OKC, but very close. Just because it's further up North

than OKC. I'll never forget summer of 1980 in Tulsa, Temps reached and exceeded

110 the entire summer. It was horrible. Thank God I was a teenager then, as

there were many young children and elderly who died that summer. That is the

hottest summer I remember EVER in Oklahoma and don't care to repeat it. Every

other summer in Okla., we can count on temps in excess of 100 and every other

winter is bitter cold too. It's just a pattern that has been here in Oklahoma as

long as I can remember. This coming Winter will be mild here, it always is

following a terribly hot summer. And then the bugs don't get killed off as it

just doesn't get cold enough for long enough to do the job.

I live about 40 miles west of ft. worth texas and it is so hot here that I can't

even go outside without feeling sick.

Hi Rita,

I know what you mean. At least our humidity was only in the 30's today. We are

sitting at 93 at nearly midnight here in Oklahoma right now. Humidity only 28%,

so that's not bad, but boy is it still hot out there.

My son and I got out this morning before 7am and it sure was nice. The humidity

was low and there was a slight breeze, only about 72, I just wish it had stayed

like that all day, instead, we saw a temp of 105 today.

I live in Athens, Georgia which is 90 miles northeast from Atlanta. It's been in

the high 90's here for weeks and very very humid. Thank god for air

conditioning!!!!! We live in a duplex not far from UGA: home of the Georgia

Bulldogs! I am usually very tanned and spent all my time off at the lake or the

pool. But for the last few years, I have been white as a ghost. I spend all my

days inside because my meds make me so sleepy that I sleep most of the time. But

it is either sleep or be in misery all day. It's not much of a life at all.
