Guest guest
Great news,Penny....glad to hear it!!                                                                            Love,Jill  We don't remember days, we remember moments. Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. ________________________________ To: livercirrhosissupport Sent: Mon, November 23, 2009 10:54:31 PM Subject: Treatment Ending  I went to to see my hepatologist today. Everything is great! Undetectable. I do my last shot for the treatment tomorrow, Tuesday, and take my last Riba pills next Tuesday, and I will be done! Yay! I only have to get one more shot of Aranesp at the clinic to keep my blood cell counts up next Monday, and I will be done with those too. I will only have to do labs once a month from now on. I won't know what to do with myself not having to go to the clinic every week...lol. The hepatologist said I have a 70% chance that the Hep C won't come back. I hope so! I don't see the hepatologist again for six months. He said in his experience, having healthy levels of Vitamin D in the blood helps to beat the Hep C, and my levels have been good. I may not have to take meds for my hypothyroidism in a while too because that might go back to normal. I'll get my energy back, and start walking on the treadmill more. They want me to get this extra weight off, and so do I. Penny

Guest guest
Thanks, Jill. It will be nice not to have to go to the lab every week, and the doctor so often. I've been doing that since my transplant, almost two years ago...January 6, 2008. Guest guest
Lyncia, This year has gone pretty fast. I thought it would take forever when I started treatment, but it really didn't. Guest guest
Penny, thank you for thinking of me. It's difficult but I have to make myself remember the good times and the love we shared. This was Terry's favorite time of year so I have to try my best to make it happy for me. It's what I know he would have wanted. Praying you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy that chocolate cake! > > > Thanks, Diane.
