Guest guest
Watching out!!! Hey, that's great. After you said that a few weeks ago, I tried 50's, standing, and eeked out 10 or 12, but it wasn't pretty. I've been trying the last few months to do biceps more regularly, and some lifts are coming along (standing barbell), but not that one. Just monday, I was finishing biceps with incline curls, and grabbed the 40's for an easy set. The set sucked and I didn't get many reps, so for the next set I figured I may as well do 50's and get the same reps...so I did. My buddy didn't understand my logic... Kudos to you, your efforts are paying off!!! Guest guest
GREAT for you . Those days where you reach a goal are special. You are going to reap the benefits of that one for a while. Be sure to show off those arms once in a while Good luck on that next goal of 12 reps by Christmas. You can DO IT. Bruce
Guest guest
, Way to go. You really jumped up with the weights. Wow! 50# DBs!!!! Great accomplishment. As usual, your planning, hard work and positive attitude are all paying off. The benefits of exercise are all yours. I had a little victory too...doing a set of 6 curls with two 25# DBs. I have done this before but it was probably over a year ago. I have finally regained what I lost in my arms. Feels great! Guest guest
Way to go, !!! I'll be hitting some new highs myself... we went to the gym last night to figure out starting weights for my boyfriend, and I cannot tell you how... hmm, psychologically damaging? it is that his starting weights are pretty close to my weights right now... ugh. Yeah, yeah... he's bigger than me by 12 " and nearly 100lbs, but still... I am too competitive for my own good! I think the competition will be good for both of us, though... hehehe. Anyways, this should prove pretty interesting! -Lianne > BFL'ers, > > It's bragging time! ...With a new personal high. > >
