Guest guest
I'm new here--have been reading previous posts, but need advice. I had saliva tests for adrenals: A.M.--13.1 norm Noon--2.9 norm Levels consistent with evolving adrenal fatigue. P.M.--1.2 low Night--0.3 low Thyroid testing results--blood test-- T4 free direct dialysis--1.0 T3 free tracer dialysis--212 T3 total--109 Iodine blood test Protein-bound iodine--3.6 low Total serum iodine--6.7 Inorganic iodine--3.1 low Based on these results, my doctor prescribed Iodoral--12.5 mg/day; Levoxyl 150 mcg daily. I looked up Levoxyl, and it says this drug is contraindicated for persons with adrenal insufficiency. Recommendations? I'm thinking if the Iodine deficiency is corrected I don't need the Levoxyl, and I am not sure I should fill this prescription? Any help would be most appreciated.
