Guest guest
Hi....just an FYI I will be in the hospital next Thursday and Friday for my yearly check-ups to keep me on the transplant list. Yesterday, I went to the SSDI doctor and he was a jerk jerk jerk. Did I tell you he was a jerk who did not know very much about liver disease except to call me an alcholic......mine was not from drinking. I told him that my days and nights were mixed up and he told me that he had not ever heard of that and that it had nothing to do with my disease. I think that I will be turned down for the 4th time. This is getting old and I am tired....... Lots of hugs and kisses to everyone. They can give you a sedative that may help get you through it all.. Ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRI don't hurt...it is just taking a picture of your body. The only thing that may hurt is an injection of a dye to see things better on the film. That is no worse than having blood tests taken. Guest guest
Only good thoughts are coming your way. Jerks are everywhere and you should report him to the AMA, this is not the way he should be handling his job. I pray you are not turned down again..., Big hug your way Phyllis ________________________________ To: livercirrhosissupport Sent: Friday, July 3, 2009 11:22:09 AM Subject: Re: Debbie Hi....just an FYI I will be in the hospital next Thursday and Friday for my yearly check-ups to keep me on the transplant list. Guest guest
-From what I've read so many things CAN go wrong. The thought of it all just terrifies me. I know I should try to be more brave but I can't find it in me. I feel so lost inside myself???-- In livercirrhosissupport , abijann wrote: > > Let the nurses and doctors know about how you feel about anything > that is bothering you as far as procedures or testing. Guest guest
Lyncia, I am so very sorry that you had to deal with such an incompetent, ignorant, uncaring idiot. It's not bad enough that you have to deal with the disease but then all the BS that goes along with it. It's so unfair. You're facing what you are and here I am being such a baby over a catherization. And I believe you about the day & night thing. Up until about 6 mos. ago I could not stay up past 8 PM. Now, it's 2 or 3 AM before I can sleep even when I get up early and don't take a nap. I end up in bed EVERY afternoon to rest though. I just wish you the best and pray your SSDI is approved.Have you yet to go before a judge? HOW can someone who is needing BOTH a liver and kidney not qualify???? I really wish you the best next week. Know that we will all be thinking of you~~~Debbie > > > From: abijann <no_reply > > Subject: Debbie > To: livercirrhosissupport > Date: Friday, July 3, 2009, 1:49 PM > > > > > > > > > Let the nurses and doctors know about how you feel about anything > that is bothering you as far as procedures or testing. Guest guest
Debbie, Thanks so much. My nights now are later and later....hopefully in the next couple of hours I will get some sleep. I guess I am getting tired of some doctors acting like god .... instead of looking at each of us as individuals. Don't get me wrong, I have doctors in my family and they don't behave like they are gods...... It is okay to feel what you are feeling.......that is what this group is for! Girl I am behind you and if I were closer, I would go with you! Lots of hugs and kisses to everyone.
