I'd just noticed that you recommended the Neuro- optimizer as something to help rebuild the brain chemistry..just thought these products might help..but you're right..What we're doing is working well, best not to tamper with it. He's still taking the Bach Essenses 3-4 times a day (Aspen, Mimulus and Star of Bethlehem). Should he continue with these the entire time he is tapering off the Paxil? Thanks... The more individualized the treatment, the better the results. In 's case, he's not just in withdrawal--we've been trying to re-balance him from going cold turkey and from adverse reactions while he was initially on Paxil. At some point we may want to use the Neuro-Optimizer (and/or other things). You said: <<<but you're right..What we're doing is working well, best not to tamper with it. If we see new symptoms emerge we'll evaluate them and respond accordingly by altering or adding to his protocol. Regards,
Guest guest
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has an experience with glutamine supplements and improved GI function, if possible for HIV population. Thanks
Guest guest
I work in an HIV clinic and haven't had many patients use it. The insurance isnt covering it, but it may be different in each state. There are a few products like Glutasolve and Juven that contain Glutamine. It is helpful for GI problems to repair the gut. The recommendation is 30grams/day and to taper down once improved symptoms to 10gram/day and continue or restart when needed. There are two buyers clubs for hiv pts. to purchase supplements at a discount, houstonbuyersclub.com and bostonbuyersclub.com. hope this helps, Tamara Frenya R.D.
