In most cases, when the employer closes up shop, the entire

group terminates and COBRA ends as well. There can be exceptions, so each case

needs to be examined individually to determine options. For instance, if a

company has outsourced their health benefits then the responsible company may

remain in business (and therefore group and COBRA coverage remains in place).

Hello Everyone,

Quick questions. If a company goes under, will the employees still

receive cobra benefits?

Thank you all for your help in advance.

Can a patient get Cobra coverage if they still have coverage under the other parent and have Medicare?
