Medicare & donor complications

Would Medicare pay for a donor complication that comes up

(at any time after the transplant, even years later) when a recipient only had

Medicare A the month of the transplant with Medicare B active later in the year

(has commercial insurance so started B later to not have to pay all the premium

$$ for B)?
