Guest guest
I don't really know as much as I should about sex hormones, and without ranges, those numbers are absolutely without meaning. TSH doesn't matter at all, so we can just ignore it. Your fT4 is low and fT3 just above range. This suggests that you're converting as fast as you can just to survive, you have low cortisol corralling your T3 in the blood and not letting into your cells, or both. Your ferritin is WAY low, and random cortisol is meaningless. Knowing the ranges for the lab that gave the results is important because sometimes the procedure varies, resulting in different anticipated outcomes. K? :-) Deborah lynda_vandenelzen wrote: > Hi again - Since nobody responded, I thought I would post this > again. My questions are in my original post. If you are not taking thyroid, it shows pituitary dysfunction. I would say your Cortisol is low but this is a really bad test to determine from as the range is way too big to tell much.Your Ferritin is in the dirt! You need to bring it up to between 70-90 for good thyroid function. I would say take any form of iron that agrees with you at 200 MG a day. It will still take a couple months to bring it up with that much. Your thyroid levels look fairly good, but I bet you still feel bad from the low Ferritin. The over range T3 MAY be from low Cortisol. Guest guest
, I think your eyes moved too fast. fT4 is 12 on a scale of 10-20. LOW. I am at work so rushing through between dogs. Guest guest
The over range T3 MAY be from low Cortisol , Would you explain why that may be so? Hollis
Guest guest
>>The over range T3 MAY be from low Cortisol , Would you explain why that may be so? << Because your body needs cortiosl for T3 to get into the receptors in the cells to work. As in adrenal fatigue you have been low cortisol for a while, the T3 has most likely built up in your blood which shows up as high T3 with a normal to low T4. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
My boyfriend was put on Armour, testosterone and DHEA. I think he should be on cortisol but he does not listen to me. Can thyroid work even with his cortisol being pretty low? -- Re: Re: cleaning up the endocrin disaster! >>The over range T3 MAY be from low Cortisol, Would you explain why that may be so? <<Because your body needs cortiosl for T3 to get into the receptors in the cells to work. Guest guest
Sometimes if the adrenals are not totally shot if he raises Armour VERY slowly, he may heal without adrenal support, but most likely if he has weak adrenals he will not get the Armour optimized as he will get hyper symptoms before that happens from the build up in his blood. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
>>I do wonder if I have a pituitary problem, since at my sickest, my TSH was 5.13 and my skin was peeling off (so I wonder if I have something on my pituitary hampering it's function because you'd think with the list of symptoms I had that my TSH would have been higher) Any thoughts on that?<< For some people 5.13 IS a very high TSH. Mine never went that high! And I almost died of low thyroid so it is relative. It is a higher TSH than you would have with pituitary failure. About the Floradix.. we need about 200MG a day of elemental iron to bring Ferritin levels up, so I would say you would need 10 of these a day. The normal dosages do not apply when you have seriously low Ferritin. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
