Guest guest
Hi , I have been using Nutribase in my private practice for over 3 years to complete client assessments and perform nutritional analyses of client intakes, recipes, cycle menus and restaurant menu items. Nutribase more than meets my particular needs. It takes some time to learn all the features (and there are many) but overall I am very pleased with this nutrition and fitness software program. They also provide sample weekly meal plans at various calorie levels for diabetes, heart disease, DASH, weight loss, sports nutrition/body building and vegetarian diets that you can modify to meet your client's specific needs. You also receive detailed nutrient analysis of client's intakes and assessment report that clients seem to be real impressed with. Nutribase also has a PDA version. I have used it to generate nutrient facts labels and it worked very well for me. You can either download it directly from their website or receive a CD if you prefer. They just came out with the latest version - NB7. Also, I like the fact that all updates are free (they update it fairly frequently as they are striving for continuous improvement). And the customer service is excellent. Visit www.nutribase.com for more information and www.nutribase.com/highend.shtm for various program comparisons. I hope this helps. Guest guest
Nutribase is quite cool - as you can burn a CD to give to your clients - they load the program on their computer - input the data and give back to you for the analysis. Also, if you have ever boughten any other nutrient analysis program and can give proof of ownership they will give you $100 ( I may be off on the actual amount) off the purchase price. I just scanned in a copy of my food processor disk for them. BUT I still use food processor for research as it is still the cream of the crop Marg Alfieri Francis wrote: > Hi , > I have been using Nutribase in my private practice for over 3 years to > complete client assessments and perform nutritional analyses of client > intakes, recipes, cycle menus and restaurant menu items. Guest guest
, To burn a CD in Nutribase, click on the IM (intake module) icon; then select burn an intake module CD. Insert a blank, recordable CD-R and then press Burn CD. A few minutes later, you are good to go. I hope this helps.
