Guest guest
May I put your son on our Bible Study prayer list? I was just talking to my grandson about his younger cousin who really needs an older brother/uncle in his life since he has cut off all contact with his dad who called him a loser who would never make anything of himself. At least my grandson knew he wasn't a loser, refuses to be told so again. His dad went into rehab shortly after, but he will relapse again. It has made my grandson stronger, making sure he gets grades good enough to go to college, etc. I have a bad memory, so could you tell me again, how old he is, etc. Jan H > > > Some of you may remember a little about my sons fathers story. Guest guest
my cousin was the same way...love the drinking more...he died of drinking and liver disease....people do this with smoking too...my dad drank himself out...my step mother killed her self drinking....she rolled the car.....i have a sister who i love dearly she will probably not put it down either...she said to me that i am the strong one in that i have will power and determination...i did not know she admired me. substance abuse causes alot of harm it effects everybody...i am in the process of getting a certification to teach an " over comers " group at my church... even though i lived with this abuse i still have a hard time wrapping my head around it...sandra...ps the hamburger is the least of his problem ________________________________ To: livercirrhosissupport Sent: Thursday, June 18, 2009 6:33:45 PM Subject: can you believe this!!!
